With the final season coming in 2025, season 5 of Stranger Things might be too late to fix an issue that’s been plaguing the Netflix show since the beginning. When fans first found themselves in Hawkins, Indiana, and joined the gang of Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Will as they encountered Eleven and explored the Upside Down, it was clear that the series wasn’t very diverse, an issue that needed to be addressed in later seasons. Lucas Sinclair was the only POC who was a major character, and even from the beginning, he wasn’t as well-developed as the other core members of the Dungeons & Dragons crew.
