Steven Spielberg-Produced Docuseries About Alien Encounters Gets Netflix Release Date
Steven Spielberg is producing an upcoming Netflix docuseries about aliens, which is titled Encounters. The legendary three-time Oscar-winning filmmaker is no stranger to the subject, having helmed 1977’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind which followed a blue-collar worker who has a life-changing experience with a UFO. Spielberg also famously directed 1982’s E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. The latter movie had Amblin Entertainment as its production company, which was founded by Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, and Frank Marshall. Amblin has since been behind Spielberg’s biggest films, plus several other blockbusters.
