Starfield’s New Game Plus Improves More Than Just Its Story

With most video games, a New Game Plus simply lets players spend more time with a game they enjoy, though it lacks story-based rationalization, but Starfield structured its entire main plot around making New Game Plus a part of its story. Most titles take the route of Final Fantasy 16 with a New Game Plus, where it might offer players a special weapon or ability, or a harder difficulty mode appropriate to higher level characters. Other titles have used the feature to provide alternate endings and additional story content, but few games have made it the centerpiece of the plot like Starfield.
