The Scourge is a viral intelligence which is rapidly spreading across the droids of the galaxy, with designs on crossing over to control all biological life, and even the Force. However, so far the Scourge has been represented by tiny, disc-like droids who spread its malicious presence to other artificial life. Now, in cover art for Dark Droids #4, the Scourge assumes a new form.
