Star Trek: DS9’s Top 11 Supporting Characters Ranked 

Over the course of its seven seasons, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine played host to a wide variety of supporting characters. Frequently, these were visitors to the station, bringing with them the political and personal conflicts that would set DS9‘s stories into motion. Others were residents of Deep Space Nine, neither coming nor going but staying in one place much like the station itself. As the Dominion War took hold of the station and the ongoing story, more recurring characters were connected directly to the war, taking advantage of Deep Space Nine’s proximity to the Bajoran wormhole.
