A deleted Venom edit created by Sony ends a debate over who is the more powerful version of the Marvel symbiote in the cinematic multiverse. Venom made his cinematic debut in 2007’s Spider-Man 3. The film was directed by Sam Raimi and Eddie Brock was portrayed by Topher Grace. The character was divisive among audiences, as many weren’t satisfied with the legendary comic book character portrayed as a side antagonist rather than the central threat.
