Simulant Cast & Character Guide: MCU Star Leads The Sci-Fi Action Movie

The 2023 sci-fi thriller Simulant features a star-studded cast including the MCU’s Simu Liu in a major starring role. Released in its native Canada in April 2023, Simulant follows a recently deceased man (Robbie Amell) who gets caught up in an A.I. revolution after his consciousness is transferred into a new synthetic body. Playing on classic sci-fi tropes but with a modern twist, Simulant manages to find its own way of telling a Blade Runner-like story, and it does so with a hard-edged independent aesthetic. Though it isn’t a tentpole franchise film, Simulant manages to assemble an impressive cast of stars that helps to elevate its well-worn premise.
