The original Sausage Party proved to be a surprise smash hit, but Sausage Party sequel updates have been extremely infrequent despite the first movie’s huge success. The 2016 movie is an R-rated comedy that follows some sentient food products, led by a sausage named Frank (Seth Rogen), who discovers what happens to food once customers take them home from the store. The movie combines filthy, R-rated humor with a Pixar-style animated adventure tale. The movie is best remembered for the infamous food orgy scene at the end, which originally caused the film to receive an NC-17.
