Sarah Natochenny Interview: The Voice of Ash Ketchum Says Goodbye to the Role

Since 2006, Sarah Natochenny has voiced Pokémon‘s Ash Ketchum in the English dub, a long career which has seen her throughout many different eras of the long-running anime. That culminated in Ash’s victory in the Masters’ Eight Tournament last year (in Japan), where he took on the title of World Champion, a major triumph which signaled the beginning of the end for Ash’s time in the spotlight. It was soon announced that Ash would be leaving the anime, handing over the reins to new characters for the first time in the series’ history, but not before one final miniseries that would see Ash off.
