Rick & Morty’s Season 7 Recasting Confirms The Harsh Truth Of The Entire Show

The fact that Rick and Morty is recasting its title characters with soundalikes just goes to show that a series about the limitless possibilities of the multiverse is still beholden to traditional continuity. Rick and Morty revolves around the interdimensional adventures of a hard-drinking scientific genius and his socially awkward grandson. From seasons 1 to 6, Rick and Morty were both voiced by series co-creator Justin Roiland. However, following accusations of domestic battery, false imprisonment, and predatory behavior towards minors, Roiland was removed from the series and it was announced that he would be replaced with soundalikes in the upcoming season 7.
