Rick & Morty Season 7 Might Be "Even Better" Without Justin Roiland, Says Producer

Rick and Morty executive producer Steve Levy gives his thoughts about season 7 in light of the Justin Roiland controversy. For six seasons, co-creator Roiland voiced the titular characters in the successful Adult Swim animated show. However, earlier this year, Adult Swim and Hulu fired him after his charges of domestic battery and false imprisonment and allegations of workplace misbehavior became public. As a result, the show dealt with the abrupt reshuffling of logistics, vision, and casting in the lead-up to season 7. Though Roiland was later dismissed from the charges, his removal from the show seems to have left a renewed sense of vigor in the minds of Levy and others.
