RDR2: How Much You Can Do Before Arthur Gets TB?

Arthur Morgan contracts TB fairly early in Red Dead Redemption 2, but much can still be done before his fateful encounter with Thomas Downes. Throughout the game, Arthur’s TB progresses in a way that starts to have a significant narrative impact. However, the mission where Arthur contracts the deadly disease has a very specific trigger, meaning that avoiding it can open up other avenues. While this would effectively stop the story and lock out a large portion of the game, it is a viable option for those wishing for Arthur Morgan to live on without succumbing to his seemingly inevitable fate.
