Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC Is Still Overlooking Its Most Needed Addition

The two upcoming DLC expansions for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, collectively known as The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, promise to bring a wealth of new content to the Generation 9 games, but there’s no indication they’ll be adding what the games need most. Scarlet and Violet‘s DLC rollout will begin with The Teal Mask releasing on September 13, the first of two add-ons. Part two, The Indigo Disk, will follow sometime closer to the end of the year, with only a winter 2023 release window revealed. Neither, however, appears poised to address Pokémon Scarlet and Violet‘s most notable, lingering issue.
