Outlander: Blood of My Blood is the upcoming prequel to Outlander, and the spinoff looks primed to continue the legacy of its parent show with more unique storytelling and authentic romance. Outlander has been a hugely successful project for Netflix, chronicling the romantic Outlander relationship between Jamie and Claire after the latter is sent back in time to Scotland in the 18th century. The prequel series, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, will replace the main show after its eighth and final season, following Jamie’s parents Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser.
