One Piece Creator’s Big Rule Saved Netflix’s Live-Action Show From Disaster (Despite Almost Breaking It)
Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the popular anime One Piece has stayed quite close to its source material, and although the series almost broke one of the anime’s biggest rules, the fact that it didn’t makes the show that much more accurate and enjoyable. One Piece is a manga series written by Eiichiro Oda, and first published in 1997. As of now, the series has a total of 106 volumes. The series was also brought to television in 1999 with the One Piece anime, which is also still airing. Now, Netflix has introduced the live-action adaptation of One Piece, which currently has one season.
