One of Mike Flanagan’s most frequent collaborators wants to join the upcoming Dark Tower adaptation. The first attempt at adapting Stephen King’s Dark Tower was met with sharply negative reactions from both critics and audiences when it was released in 2017 despite an impressive cast that included Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey. More recently, in December 2022, The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan shared that he’d acquired the rights to develop a television series show on the books, with plans for multiple seasons and movies.
