Obi-Wan Kenobi Missed The Perfect Opportunity To Adapt A Deleted Clone Wars Scene
Obi-Wan Kenobi missed an opportunity to adapt a pivotal scene from a deleted Star Wars: The Clone Wars arc. Obi-Wan Kenobi dove into Obi-Wan’s psyche after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, exploring his feelings of guilt, failure, and grief after Anakin Skywalker’s turn to the dark side and the Jedi’s genocide. As Anakin’s Jedi Master, Obi-Wan felt responsible for his former apprentice’s harrowing transformation, for not noticing the signs of Emperor Palpatine’s manipulation, and for failing to help Anakin properly process his feelings for Padmé Amidala and his fear of her death. While those issues certainly contributed to Anakin’s downfall, there was one other life-altering event that affected him deeply, too.
