Night Court Season 2 Gets Premiere Date (& It’s Soon)

Night Court season 2 gets a premiere date on NBC, and it’s very soon. Debuting earlier this year, the reboot of the popular 1980s sitcom is led by Big Bang Theory‘s Melissa Rauch as Abby Stone. The daughter of the late Harry Stone from the original sitcom, Abby has a sunny outlook on a job that most people around her can’t wait to be free of. That includes Dan Fielding (John Larroquette), who reluctantly accepts Abby’s offer to become a public defender. The show started with big ratings and was quickly renewed for a season 2, although the second installment has been delayed due to fallout from the writers and actors strikes.
