New Looney Tunes Movie Revealed, Franchise’s First Animated Feature Made For Theaters

The Looney Tunes are headed back to the big screen in the franchise’s first all-animated feature film made for theaters. Warner Bros. first unleashed their classic stable of cartoon characters in the 1930s, through a series of shorts created by a team of now-legendary animators. Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Yosemite Sam and the rest of the gang would later become stars of Saturday morning cartoons, then movie stars with the release of a series of compilation films in the ‘70s through the ‘90s. Live-action/animated hybrid movies were next for the Looney Tunes, first with 1996’s Space Jam, then with 2003’s Looney Tunes: Back in Action, and finally 2021’s Space Jam: A New Legacy.
