New Horror Movie Banned In Kuwait Due To Trans Castmember, Actor Responds To "Dehumanizing" Decision
Talk to Me was banned in Kuwait due to the inclusion of a trans actor, Zoe Terakes, who responds to the “dehumanizing” decision. Since its theatrical release last month, the new horror film has been both a critical and commercial success, becoming A24’s second-biggest opening weekend domestically after Ari Aster’s Hereditary with $10 million. The Talk to Me cast includes Sophie Wilde, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Miranda Otto, Otis Dhanji, and trans actor Zoe Terakes.
