My Hero Academia Would Have Been A Lot Better If It Stayed True To Its Premise

My Hero Academia is one of the most successful manga/anime franchises of the past decade, but if it stayed true to the premise of its first chapter it could have become an unrivaled masterpiece. In the series’ world, the majority of the population has a Quirk that gives them superpowers. The protagonist Deku is one of the few people without a Quirk, but despite being a completely mundane junior high student with no powers of his own living a world full of superpowers, Deku wants more than anything to be a hero, utterly refuses to give up on that goal despite the seemingly impossible task in front of him. However, this immediately changes when Deju gets not just any Quirk, but one of the strongest powers in the series, One for All.
