Mike Flanagan’s Upcoming Stephen King Movie Is Already More Exciting Than His Dark Tower Adaptation

Mike Flanagan is hard at work on two different Stephen King adaptations – a TV show based on The Dark Tower series and a movie based on a much lesser-known King story – and based on comments the director has made, the latter is even more exciting than the former. Adapting The Dark Tower for television will be a massive undertaking; there are eight novels to get through, encompassing a wide range of genres from western to horror to science fantasy, and the series as a whole is regarded as King’s magnum opus. Flanagan’s other King adaptation seems like a much safer bet.
