MCU Phase 6 Has 8 Possible Thanos Successors

Marvel Studios has set up several possible villains that would be perfect to replace Thanos in Phase 6 of the MCU. Josh Brolin’s Thanos was teased for several years as the main villain of the MCU’s Infinity Saga, making his debut in The Avengers’ post-credits scene but finally embarking on his Infinity Stone quest in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War. The Mad Titan memorably succeeded in wiping out half the population of the universe, though this was reversed by Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, and the Avengers defeated Thanos not once but twice in Avengers: Endgame. This left a huge void in the MCU, though several big villains are eager to fill it.
