Luke Hinted At His ‘Kylo Ren’ Failure Long Before He Even Beat Palpatine

This article contains spoilers for Star Wars: Dark Droids – D-Squad #1 While Luke Skywalker is perhaps the greatest Jedi in the history of Star Wars canon (proven true by his victory over Palpatine with the redemption of Darth Vader), and was the first stage in the resurgence of the Jedi Order following its fall during the Clone Wars era, he has made his fair share of mistakes, including and especially when it comes to Kylo Ren. In fact, Luke made the very same mistake he made with Ben Solo during the age of the Galactic Civil War, a moment that foreshadowed perhaps his greatest failure before his grandest victory.
