Linda Blair Interview: Oscar Nominee On Worldheart Foundation, Ongoing Animal Crisis & The Exorcist Return
While known for her iconic work in the horror classic, Linda Blair has devoted much of her life to animal rights via the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation. Having gotten her start in commercials and print advertising, Blair quickly rose to stardom with her role as the possessed young girl Regan MacNeil in 1973’s The Exorcist, for which she earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress and won the Golden Globe for the same award. In addition to returning for the sequel, 1977’s The Exorcist II: The Heretic, Blair would go on to star in a wide variety of projects including Airport 1975, Roller Boogie, and Hell Night.
