Jordan Peele became one of the most successful filmmakers of the 2010s, as his small-budget movies made hundreds of millions of dollars, but he has struggled to beat his own box office number. Originally known as a comedian and one-half of the Key & Peele sketch show, Peele shocked audiences with the terrifying horror movie Get Out. The film was a huge success, and it earned $255 million worldwide (via The Numbers).
