John Wick’s First Spinoff Just Raised Concerns For Next Year’s Movie

The recent John Wick spinoff has raised concerns for next year’s movie in the franchise. Set in the ’70s amid the crime waves, political corruption, and labor strikes of New York City, The Continental: From The World of John Wick examines the rise of Winston Scott (played here by Colin Woodell, and Ian McShane in the John Wick films) in the underground world of elite assassins that make up the mystique of the John Wick Universe. Over the course of three 90-minute episodes, fans watch him protect his brother, meet the man who will be his right-hand, and take over The Continental from kingpin Cormac (Mel Gibson).
