Iron Man’s Death Date Makes Avengers Endgame’s Black Widow Snub Much Worse

Marvel Studios has often snubbed Black Widow in favor of other heroes, and Avengers: Endgame tragically put the final nail in the coffin for the original Avenger who sacrificed herself only a day earlier than Iron Man. Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff and Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark had been connected since the former’s MCU debut in 2010’s Iron Man 2. Iron Man and Black Widow not only took down Justin Hammer and Ivan Vanko, formed the Avengers together, and battled on the same side in Captain America: Civil War, but they both also sacrificed themselves to defeat the Mad Titan Thanos in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, yet received quite different memorials in the MCU timeline.
