Indiana Jones 5 Pays-Off The Last Crusade Sequel Story The Movies Didn’t Show

The prologue of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny has a great nod to a Last Crusade sequel comic that never made it to the screen. Touted as Indy’s final on-screen adventure, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny sees an older Dr. Jones going on one last excursion to keep Archimedes’ Dial, an ancient time-traveling device, out of the wrong hands. But before the primary MacGuffin of the Dial is introduced, a different MacGuffin is teased with a fun connection to a comic book that acted as a sequel to The Last Crusade.
