"I Don’t Want It": Ciri’s Jon Snow Parallel Sets Up Her Witcher Ending

Ciri battled with the responsibility placed on her in The Witcher season 4 and used Jon Snow’s notorious line from Game of Thrones to express this. Though two very different series, both TV fantasy franchises see their characters go through similar arcs. Both Ciri and Jon were born (somewhat unknowingly) into worlds that would look to them to solve problems much bigger than themselves. Additionally, both The Witcher and Game of Thrones saw their characters tempted to give into darkness—a twist that has proven unpopular in the past. Ultimately, these parallels reveal much about the direction Ciri’s character is headed.
