I Am Legend’s Darkseeker Voice Actor Was Secretly One Of The 1990s’ Most Influential Musicians

While I Am Legend’s villainous Darkseekers didn’t have much in the way of comprehensible dialogue, the monster movie’s villains were voiced by a surprisingly iconic musician. Released in 2007, I Am Legend is a post-apocalyptic action-thriller that follows Will Smith’s Dr. Robert Neville around the abandoned streets of New York City after a plague has wiped out much of humanity. Some humans who survived the plague became Darkseekers, vampiric monsters that dwelled in the dark and attacked at night. Loosely adapted from author Richard Matheson’s novel of the same name, I Am Legend received criticism for the changes the movie made to the source material.
