Highlander Reboot With Henry Cavill Gets Exciting Update, Teasing Expansive New Franchise

Director Chad Stahelski gives an update on the highly anticipated Highlander reboot. The fantasy franchise, which initially began with Russell Mulcahy’s 1986 feature film of the same name, follows Connor MacLeod, an immortal Scottish swordsman who must battle his last eternal enemies. After the first movie, other offshoots were created, which includes original novels, an anime film, live-action television films, a flash animation series, and comic books. In 2016, it was confirmed that Stahelski would direct a Highlander reboot, with Henry Cavill joining the project in 2021.
