HBO Max has officially changed to Max, and people are trolling the rebrand in creative ways. Following Warner Brothers’ merger with Discovery, the newly-formed conglomerate led by CEO David Zaslav developed a revamped streaming service intended to combine HBO’s scripted shows, Discovery’s reality TV, and Warner Bros.’ movies all in one place. The rebranded streaming service is also rolling out plenty of new features designed to enhance the user experience, though the inexplicable name change has puzzled many existing subscribers.
