Guillermo Del Toro Almost Made A Hulk Show For Marvel: Here’s Why It Never Happened

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has no shortage of Hulk appearances across its movies and TV shows, but the angry, green monster was slated to star in his own show from Guillermo del Toro that never happened. Back in 2010, shortly after the release of the first MCU Hulk movie and Disney’s acquisition of Marvel, Marvel and ABC were finalizing a deal for a Hulk show, with famed Pan’s Labyrinth director del Toro at its helm. Del Toro’s Hulk show never came to fruition, however, and the Hulk’s next appearance wouldn’t come until 2012’s The Avengers, with a notable casting change.
