Gru Becomes A Real Person In Scarily Accurate Despicable Me Art

The iconic Despicable Me character Gru has been reimagined in full live-action. Gru, who is voiced by Steve Carell, originated in the 2010 animated hit Despicable Me, which saw the character pursuing his dreams of becoming a supervillain while trying to avoid having his heart won over by three orphans he has adopted as part of his plan. The character has a stylized and dynamic appearance complete with a bald head, wide shoulders atop a body that tapers all the way down to his feet, and a long beaklike nose.
