Good Burger 2 At NYCC 2023 Interview: Creative Team Discuss Long-Awaited Nickelodeon Movie Sequel

After 26 years since the original cult classic hit theaters, Good Burger 2 is finally coming to Paramount+ this fall. The original movie, based on the sketch from Nickelodeon’s All That, garnered mixed-to-negative reviews from critics, but was a modest box office success, grossing over $23 million off a budget of just $8.5 million. Despite this, a direct sequel didn’t come to fruition right away. However, thanks to the film’s cult classic status, due in no small part to the jolly chemistry between lead actors Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, as well as showstopping guest stars like Sinbad and Abe Vigoda, a sequel is finally on the way.
