Godzilla Show’s Kurt Russell & Son Wyatt Russell Casting Addressed By Director

Matt Shakman, executive producer and director of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, addresses the casting of Kurt Russell and his son, Wyatt Russell, as the same character in the upcoming series. Set to release on Apple TV Plus next month, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters takes place after the events of 2014’s Godzilla, following two siblings who uncover secrets about the mysterious organization known as Monarch. The story will see the siblings encounter Army officer Lee Shaw, who is played by Kurt Russell in the present-day storyline and his son during a section set in the 1950s.
