Star Wars creator George Lucas helped inspire Ahsoka‘s intergalactic journey outside of the known galaxy to the far-off world of Peridea with a small prequel trilogy moment, according to showrunner Dave Filoni. The 2023 Disney+ series followed Rosario Dawson’s conflicted former Jedi Ahsoka Tano on a journey to locate Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen). Ahsoka saw the series’ cast of heroes and villains engage in a race that would see the franchise venture outside of its cataloged galaxy.
