George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead series is a sprawling, multimedia franchise with numerous sequels, remakes, and off-shoots. The amount of projects to follow in the wake of Romero’s seminal 1968 film, Night of the Living Dead, is perhaps unrivaled. It didn’t just launch a franchise; it launched an entire genre.
