The long-awaited release of the Fontaine region in Genshin Impact 4.0 was officially confirmed by developer HoYoverse, and players can start preparing to finally venture into the Nation of Justice, also known as the Nation of Hydro. There are plenty of activities that they can engage in during the weeks leading up to the addition of Fontaine. The new region will not only bring an entirely new map to explore but also a set of new NPCs and playable characters, a brand-new list of quests that continues the Traveler’s search for their lost sibling in Teyvat, and even gameplay mechanics, which include underwater exploration and combat.
