Gen V Still Hasn’t Solved The Biggest Marie Mystery (& It Needs To Be Season 2’s Big Story)

Gen V season 1 answered a lot of intriguing questions about its blood-bending central character, Marie Moreau, but there’s still one big mystery that season 2 needs to solve. Set in The Boys universe, Gen V revolves around a group of young adult superheroes attending Godolkin University, a college for supes run by Vought International. The story is mostly told through Marie’s eyes as she unexpectedly makes her way onto the leaderboard and catches Vought’s attention for a possible spot on The Seven. The pilot episode revealed that when Marie first discovered her powers, she accidentally killed both of her parents, orphaning herself and her sister.
