Paramount+ is bringing back Kelsey Grammer’s snobbish psychiatrist almost two decades after his Cheers spin-off ended. Kelsey Grammer is reprising his role as Frasier Crane in the new show, as he begins his fourth act back in Boston. Frasier’s decision to revisit his old New England stomping grounds means that there will be expected references to his time hanging out at Sam Malone’s bar in Cheers. Armed with life experience, however, the Frasier reboot will see its titular character at a very different stage in his life.
