The Frasier reboot finally answers a big question in Cheers after 30 years. Paramount+ is bringing back Kelsey Grammer’s iconic sitcom character, Frasier Crane, who got his start in the Boston-set sitcom before headlining his equally successful spin-off. In the Frasier revival, the character returns to Boston after years of living in Seattle in an effort to address some unfinished business, as well as reconnect with his grown-up son, Freddy. Expectedly, Frasier coming back to New England is set to drum up nostalgia on his nights frequenting Sam Malone’s bar, although it is still uncertain if he will cross paths with his old bar buddies.
