Five Nights At Freddy’s director Emma Tammi expresses her interest in delving into the origins of each of the animatronic characters, including Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Cupcake. The movie follows Josh Hutcherson’s Mike Schmidt, who is desperate for work and takes a sketchy night security job at Freddy Fazzbear’s Pizza, a long-closed children’s restaurant and arcade. As he is sucked deeper into the strangeness of his new job and connections to his past trauma, he puts not only himself but his younger sister, Abby, in danger as well.
