Even Boruto Brutally Calls Out The Naruto Franchise’s Worst Trait

It isn’t a secret that Boruto has either unabashedly relegated once-important female shinobi from Naruto to either painfully stereotypical roles or just cast them out of the limelight completely. Even though the anime actually gives these and other female Naruto characters more screen time than the manga has, some might consider this additional focus to be worse since it further highlights their insignificance to the larger plot. And yet, a few episodes have already brutally called out Boruto‘s unnecessary mistreatment of these characters in a way that almost makes it worthwhile for fans.
