Endeavour season 7 marked another intense, thrilling, and mysterious entry in the British crime drama series. The third entry in the Inspector Morse murder mystery TV franchise, with the previous two being the original Inspector Morse and its spin-off, Lewis, Endeavour serves as a prequel series. Set in the 1960s and 1970s, Endeavour follows a young Inspector Endeavour Morse who, shortly after leaving Oxford University late in his third year, begins his career as a rookie detective constable with the Oxford City Police CID. Morse teams up with his superior and mentor, Detective Inspector Fred Thursday (Roger Allam), who sees a lot of great potential in him.
