Does Your Hogwarts Legacy Wand Customization Affect Gameplay?

In Hogwarts Legacy, witches and wizards are practically useless without their wands, but what’s not quite so clear is whether wand customization actually affects gameplay. At the start of the title, the player character will be using a secondhand wand that gets the job done, but certainly isn’t anything spectacular. Luckily, on their first trip to Hogsmeade, they can purchase a wand that’s better suited to their needs. As they do so, they’ll be able to customize a variety of elements including style, type and core.
