Chris Evans doesn’t think he had a lot to do with The Avengers films earning a total of $7.6 billion at the global box office. After Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, Evans’ Steve Rogers is arguably the next most important character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Infinity Saga. He functioned as the moral compass of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and spearheaded the team alongside Tony Stark. Despite that, Evans doesn’t believe that the Star-Spangled Avenger played a huge role in The Avengers franchise’s success.
