Charlie’s Angels 3 Possibilities Refueled By OG Director, 19 Years After Sequel Was Cancelled

Director McG has admitted he’s open to returning to helm a possible Charlie’s Angels 3, nineteen years after plans for both a third and fourth film were cancelled. Based on the 1970s television series of the same name, 2000’s Charlie’s Angels and its 2003 sequel Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle starred Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu as the titular trio of women working for the Townsend Agency. While two more films in the series were announced following the release of Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, in 2004 those plans were scrapped, later making way for the 2019 reboot directed by Elizabeth Banks.
