Buffy The Vampire Slayer Sequel Show Will Recast Some Roles

The new Buffy the Vampire Slayer audio drama series will recast some of the original show’s roles. Although it’s continued in the form of comics, Buffy has not been resurrected on-screen since the finale aired in 2003. There have been attempts, such as a rebooted Buffy movie that was announced in the early 2010s and quietly scrapped. More recently, in 2018, a reboot was announced to much fanfare but has since been paused indefinitely. Slayers: A Buffyverse Story, an audio drama debuting on Audible on October 12, will pick up the story ten years after the events of the last Buffy episode.
